INFO & CREDITS
This is a Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits homepage made by me, Tomas Molin, and it is best viewed with Netscape 4.04 or newer (800x600 pixels). It contains some stuff that I haven't found on other Mark Knopfler or Dire Straits related homepages. It is updated on a regular basis, for example the Trading page. However I am also working with the Mark Knopfler homepage Neck & Neck. N&N will contain almost everything you need to know about Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits, it is the ultimate web resource of information concering Mark Knopfler. Some important parts of N&N is still not on the web but will be included, it is all a question of time. My own homepage is under constant construction and changes are being made now and then - some small, some big. This version of my homepage is new since 1998. The old homepage was made in May 1995 and had 30000 visitors. I hope this new improved homepage will be to your satisfaction and that you will enjoy the visit.
A lot of people have helped me to make these pages you are visiting what they are today. I am sure if I would name them all I would forget someone because they are so numerous. And some people are not only helping me with material but they are also a tremendous source of inspiration. But I would at least want to thank everyone on Telegraph Road mailing list for sending such nice news and other interesting contributions to other fans all over the world and of course Udo Kempen for all his help! I would also like to thank Thomas Gygax for making N&N, the Mark Knopfler homepage, an unvaluable source of information, available for us on the net. I am working with N&N project myself too. I am also very grateful to Peter Falk, a student at the University of Umeå, without whom I would never have had any homepage worth the name. Thank you to ACC (the Academic Computer Club at the University of Umeå) for the 18Mb of server harddisc space they are providing me with. A big hug to Bev Dittmar for being a source of inspiration and also for being my friend. Also a big hug to an other important friend as well who wants to remain anonymous but who have helped me a lot in the background. Thank you also to Hazel Fleming for her important work. Graham Nicholls, Graham E Vinten, Jeroen van Tol, Bard A. Olsen, Johannes Omberg, Ingo Raven, Matt Teichrob etc. And of course thank you to everyone who has not been mentioned but whose help have been of great importance. Thank You!
OK, also thank you to Robert "I don't have time now" Eckeryd for showing me that something called internet exists. Visit his Bryan Adams homepage.
If you feel that your name should have been mentioned or if you feel that I am using material that I am not allowed to, or should not, use please contact me. And remember, there are no problems, only possibilities! This homepage is a good example of that.
I dedicate this homepage to my girlfriend, Camilla Ekström.

PS. Remember that you can get some really great stuff at the trading page!
"The guitar is part of him.
It can cry aloud with him,
expressing his anger and elation,
his moments of majestic serenity
and his extended torrents of power."
