Very good sounding show from the 20th anniverary tour. It was 20 years since Amore was released when the Hooters went out to tour again. They had not toured since 1995 and not worked together much in between either except for the Largo project and one live show in Philadelphia 2001. This time it seems to be a new start for the band. A new album is planned and it seems like the band has found new motivation after the long break. Several songs have slightly new arrangements and that is interesting to listen to. Also they do songs like "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" (sung by Fran), "Until You Dare" (released by Eric Bazilian but now they call it a Hooters song), "One Of Us", "Peace Train" and "Gimme A Stone" (from Largo). Especially "Gimme A Stone" is nice in this version. Apart from this we get a sort of "best of" show and some songs on request and improvisations. The songs they do on request is "Give The Music Back" and "Beat Up Guitar". Eric sings the german version of "Private Emotion" ("Heimliche Sehnsucht"). "25 Hours A Day" has some parts of other songs, for example the Rolling Stones song "Satisfaction" which is really cool. "Peace Love & Understanding" is missing the beginning and it is linked together with "Peace Train". Personally, in a musical point of view, I would have preferred some other song as last song, but the message of the songs seems to be the reason for this ending of the show. And who can say anything about that.

The Hooters remains one of the best live bands as you can hear on this recording. They continue to try new things and their joy on stage is very promising for the future. This tour takes off where the last tour in '95 ended. In '95 you could already hear some changes in their sound. But the changes is not dramatical, they only step up to a higher musical level. Very enjoyable and the remastered sound makes it almost perfect sounding. Available on 2 CD-R.
