The Chestnut Cabaret show from 1990 should be every Hooters fan's dream except that the sound quality is, well maybe not a nightmare, but anything but great unfortunately. The second part on disc #2 is from another source and has acceptable sound. It obviously repeats songs from the first recording but as the sound is better I included it of course. Thankfully the early version of "Private Emotion" (missing the beginning)) with partly different lyrics are one of the repeated pearls as well as an slightly different version of "One Too Many Nights" and some good unreleased songs like "You Can Run But You Just Can't Hide", "Save A Little Love For Me" and the John Hiatt Cover "Real Fine Love" included. Also a very interesting cover of the Fats Domino classic "Every Day I Fall In Love". The '90 show includes some quite different acoustic versions with very apparent accordians of "Don't Take My Car Out Tonight", "Where Do The Children Go" and "Blood From A Stone". Would have been great in better sound. Songs marked with a * is unreleased by the Hooters. Remastered sound. Available on two CD-R.
